Have you ever had that moment when you think you have a great idea but when you present it no one seems to think it was a great idea? Take Twitter, think about when someone said I want to create a FREE service where everyone can signup and receive SMS text messages from their friends at NO COST. Offer that up 10 years ago and people would say you were crazy, offer it up today and you would be genius. There are many examples of this and you see in Web Development and Web Design. People aren’t always open to hearing the latest cutting edge idea. It might sound a little Crazy at the moment but just give a few years and it might not be as crazy idea as you think.
“If a tree falls in the middle of the forest does it make a sound? My answer is NO:).”
You wouldn’t pitch someone on a commercial when there is no TV? Or offer up web development without the internet? The point is to wait for technology to mature always keeping your eye out for the cutting edge ideas but don’t be discouraged when your idea doesn’t stick. People are probably not ready to listen, don’t force the idea just continue to cultivate it and eventually someone else might bring it to the table and that’s when you will be well prepared to offer up a solution.
One can change the direction of the wind so why fight it! Continue to develop your idea and present it again once the audience is ready to LISTEN.
